Trauma Recovery Coaching
Do you tell yourself, “If people really knew me, they wouldn’t like me”
Do you then ask yourself, ‘What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I get things right?”
Well, nothing is wrong with you. The patterns you have that once protected you may simply no longer serve you. Together, we can become curious about those patterns, understand them, and create the freedom to choose something different. My goal for you is for you to believe: I am worthy. I am lovable. I can trust myself. I can be myself, connect deeply with others, and experience joy.”
I help people move from being controlled by old patterns formed in childhood to living from their wisest, most authentic self. We work with the different parts of your personality—especially those shaped by childhood experiences. We do not rehash the past to figure out a problem. We observe what we are telling ourselves now. By observing parts of ourselves we do not like and recognizing they were shaped to protect us a child, we learn they exist to protect us. But since we are now adults, we can learn how to work with them so they are not in charge of how we react. We can learn to control emotional responses so you can feel more confident, compassionate, and in control of the choices we make. Beyond this, I offer spiritual guidance that could help you discover the deeper strengths and traits you were born with but may have hidden. This deeper work leads to a truly authentic life where you experience greater freedom and joy and recognize your connection with others and the world around you, this may naturally lead you to want to contribute your gifts in meaningful ways.

Trauma Recovery:
My Trauma Recovery Coaching focuses on working with childhood trauma that created a strong inner critic and a shameful sense of self. This type of trauma can result in disconnection in relationships; relationships we have with ourselves and with others. It may be we either lash out at others or turn within and punish ourselves when we feel threatened which can result in damaged relationships and sometimes depression.
My objective is to help my clients open up to a more authentic and fulfilling life through awareness and self-compassion.
My premise of understanding is based on the fact that we are all worthy and loving at our core and we all deserve to be loved and in supportive relationships.
My process is to educate my clients on how the body responds to ongoing traumatic events and how those coping mechanisms keep us stuck in the past when we were dependent on our caregivers for love and attention but did not get what we needed. Trauma is embodied in us and needs to be addressed from the body as well as the mind.
We do not need to be fixed. We need to embrace the different parts of ourselves with understanding and self-compassion to be able to live our lives more fully.

Techniques I Use
Psychosynthesis Working with our sub-Personalities (our Parts), we can see and understand our beliefs created through emotions. The sub-personalities reside in the sub-conscious and in a sense, they act out our beliefs. By examining them, we bring our beliefs into the light for examination and look at the conflicting beliefs held by different parts. Some of these beliefs are created in childhood and no longer serve who we are today. In becoming aware of these thoughts we hold, we give ourselves the space to choose what decision to make for any situation.
Archetypes and Dream Analysis My work also includes identifying Archetypes and doing Dream Analysis. Archetypes are universal patterns in the collective unconscious. We are all a part of forming and maintaining these patterns and they are played out in our lives. Knowing the archetypes that work strongest in us gives us insights into where our power lies.
Dream analysis brings out repressed aspects of our unconscious personality. It bring our parts into a sharper focus letting us know where we might pay more attention and increase awareness.
Spiritual Awareness Spiritual awareness is recognizing our connection to the Divine, eternal Self and/or the interconnected nature of all things. It involves a deeper awareness of our true nature, purpose and relationship within the universe. Mindfulness and awareness helps us become more aware of this interconnectedness. It makes us aware of how we perceive ourselves, others and the world. As we examine and sooth our inner voices, we come to honor our worthiness, love, our specialness and how we fit into the all.
